About Us...

    Bohannon Pest control was established in 1971 by Clyde Bohannon, Jr and Joan Bohannon. With a background in finance, Clyde began his career in the pest control industry in Mississippi and South Alabama in late 1960. At that time, many people still referred to termites as "wood lice".

     In 1971, Clyde, Jr & Joan decided to move their family back to their home town of Florence, Alabama. Clyde Bohannon, Sr., upon hearing this decision, advised Clyde Jr. on the responsibilities and services to his customers. Clyde Sr., who is now deceased, always said "A man's word is his bond." Clyde Jr. assured his father that they would run the pest control business based on the highest ethical values. Ethics and customer service are the foundation of Bohannon Pest Control.
